Fitbit Charge is quite a bit different from the original Fitbit. One of the new problems I've seen with this product is that it is not waterproof. This means that the battery will eventually die and you'll need to replace it or buy a new one.

That may sound surprising, but what's actually happening here is that Fitbit is claiming that it is waterproof. In other words, the Fitbit is saying that it is water-resistant. But when you run on water, the sweat can cause the battery to swell and eventually cause the watch to malfunction.
Let's first look at the actual problem. It is not water-resistant because it is waterproof in theory. In reality, if you are running on water, it actually slows you down.
So when you are running and wearing a waterproof Watch, the battery will have to slowly recharge itself. Since your heart rate is based on how much you've been running, if you are constantly running on the water, the heart rate will slowly drop.
Eventually, the battery will become flat and will die. Not the greatest way to start a workout!
But as far as Fitbit goes, this is a genuine problem. You have to charge the watch every night after your exercise routine, so you really need to keep the battery topped up. This will save you a lot of money on buying a new battery.
If you want to use the waterproof feature of the Fitbit, there are two things you can do. You can either take a dip in a pool and get the water in the band to saturate the battery, or you can just wear it under a swimsuit. I personally don't like the swimsuit idea, but it is the best way to do it.
For me, I have two problems with the Fitbit. The first is that the waterproof feature isn't all that useful.
As soon as the moisture gets in the battery, the battery will have a chance to dry out. But this only happens after long durations of use on the water.
If you are going to get the waterproof Watch anyway, you have to be careful. I would suggest wearing it under a swimsuit to avoid the water getting in the band, but make sure that you don't get wet yourself.
My second problem is that it's really hard to tell the difference between a fake and a real Fitbit when it comes to online reviews. Some reviewers have a reputation for being honest and accurate, while others are not.
So, those are my problems with the Fitbit. They really shouldn't exist. In other words, I don't think the normal users of the Fitbit are going to have any problems with the waterproof feature.
